A Message From Kalani
The 2008 legislative session has adjourned, and Maui, Moloka'i, Lana'i and Kaho'olawe have all gained much in the process. Our Senate team has ensured that our way of life on these islands is enhanced and that worthy projects are funded and set to go. Indeed, we are fortunate that some of the most remote areas like Hana, Kalaupapa and Kaho'olawe will get badly needed infrastructure improvements. Of course, Upcountry Maui, Moloka'i and Lana'i also received funding via the state budget and other bills.
During the interim I will be in your towns and villages to talk story and to see how you are doing. I want to know about the quality of your life and how I can help you to create contentment and well-being in our communities.
I look forward to seeing you as I travel around our beautiful district. Please also feel free to invite me to your events, meetings and gatherings. Together, all things are possible.
